Operation Andrew Seminar with Dr. Barry Tryon
April 11, 3:30 PM
South Louisville SDA, 7319 Southside Dr.
Andrew, one of the earliest disciples of Jesus, is remembered for his simple but profound passion: bringing people to meet the Savior. Throughout the Gospels, we consistently see Andrew leading others to Christ—whether it was his own brother, a curious crowd, or a young boy with loaves and fish.
This training seminar explores Andrew’s life and ministry, highlighting the qualities that made him such an effective introducer to Jesus.
Together, we’ll look at practical, meaningful ways we can follow his example today and become people who naturally draw others toward Christ.
Dr. Tryon is a professor in Southern Adventist University’s School of Religion in the areas of church ministry, spirituality, and leadership. He is also the director of the School of Religion externship program.

Self-Defense Class for Women & Teenage Girls
Sunday, April 26, 2:00-3:30
Middletown SDA Fellowship Hall
We live in a dangerous world, especially for all those of the female gender. It is vital that every female know how to avoid putting themselves unwittingly in danger and how to defend themselves should they be attacked. At this class we will not only learn the common places that women fail to protect themselves, but will be able to see and practice hands-on methods of improving your chances of escaping. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to protect yourself and all those you love. The class will be taught by Garrett Watson, owner of MADE Fitness and Training Center, who teaches at LMPD.
Space is limited, so sign up today. Invite your friends and family members to attend as well. There is a $10 fee for each attendee.
Grace with Garments
Rae Weaver is starting a clothing closet here at the church that will provide dignity and support to men, women, and children in need in our community. If you would like to donate, please bring men’s, women’s children’s or baby clothing items to the church and place them in the designated area in the lobby.
