It’s that time of year again — the season when backpacks get packed, routines settle in, and our young people start looking for ways to grow, serve, and connect. At Middletown, one of the best places for that to happen is our Pathfinder Club, and we’re excited to announce that the 2026–2027 year is officially underway!
Our Pathfinder Club is part of a worldwide ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, designed to help youth in grades 5–12 build Christian character, learn practical skills, and discover the joy of serving others. Whether your child loves the outdoors, enjoys hands‑on projects, or simply wants to be part of a positive, encouraging community, Pathfinders is a place where they can thrive.
Our New Meeting Schedule
This year, we’re simplifying our rhythm to make participation easier for families. We will meet once a month, generally on the first Sabbath, from 2:00–5:00 pm — right after potluck. These extended meetings give us more time for honors, activities, worship, and team building.
We may also hold occasional third‑Sabbath evening events, especially as we work toward fundraising goals for future International Camporee trips.
Our first official meeting is coming up on September 19, and we can’t wait to see our returning Pathfinders — and welcome new ones!
What Pathfinders Experience
Throughout the year, club members will participate in a variety of activities, including:
- Camping and survival skills
- Community service and outreach
- Nature exploration and conservation projects
- Recreational, artistic, and vocational honors
- Team challenges and hands‑on learning
- Mentorship and encouragement from a caring staff
Every meeting is designed to help our youth grow spiritually, socially, and practically — all while having fun and building friendships that last.

Registration for the 2026–2027 year is open now, and the annual club fee is $20. When you register, you’ll be asked for a keycode — please use 9YRF9.
If your child has been part of Pathfinders before, we’re thrilled to have them back. If they’re brand new, this is a wonderful year to jump in.
