The COVID safety committee and the church board voted this week to adopt the following updated COVID safety standards, effective Sabbath, June 12.
- Masks will now be optional for everyone.
- The piano side section pews will remain taped off for those who want to continue to distance. The center section will no longer be taped off, along with the organ side section.
- We will no longer require or offer registration and there will be no capacity restrictions.
- For any who still want to attend church but feel uncomfortable in the sanctuary, where many attendees will now be unmasked, the fellowship hall will be open only for those individuals. Masking and distancing will both now be required in the fellowship hall during the church service in order to create a safe space for any who feel more comfortable there.
