The Gathering: “Person of Peace Party” Night
Wednesday, 6:30 PM
Putt-Putt Fun Center, 5720 Bardstown Rd.
Because this is a fifth Wednesday, we will be doing something different for The Gathering. We are going to have a “Person of Peace Party”. We will be meeting at the Putt-Putt Fun Center on Bardstown Rd. We are asking everyone to invite a “Person of Peace”. In case you forgot what a person of peace is (or perhaps you missed the sermon and the training where the pastor talked about it), a person of peace is:
- Someone who likes you (and you like them),
- Someone willing to serve you in some way,
- Someone who really listens to what you have to say,
- Someone who remains open when you bring up God.
If you bring your person of peace, the church will cover the cost of one game of mini-golf for you and your guest. If your person of peace is unable to come, you are still very welcome. You can come and interact with other people’s persons of peace and the cost will be $9/game.
Self-Defense Class for Women & Teenage Girls
Sunday, April 26, 2:00-3:30
Middletown SDA Fellowship Hall
We live in a dangerous world, especially for all those of the female gender. It is vital that every female know how to avoid putting themselves unwittingly in danger and how to defend themselves should they be attacked. At this class we will not only learn the common places that women fail to protect themselves, but will be able to see and practice hands-on methods of improving your chances of escaping. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to protect yourself and all those you love. The class will be taught by Garrett Watson, owner of MADE Fitness and Training Center, who teaches at LMPD.
Outdoor Church & Potluck
Sabbath, May 2, 9:45 AM Until…

Dress comfortably and bring chairs for Sabbath Schools for all ages, a beautiful worship service together, and bring a dish for potluck. Plan to spend the afternoon fellowshipping with your church family walking, biking, and enjoying God’s book of nature.
